India is searching for a monster who convinced the destitute to sell their kidneys at bargain basement prices and sold them for a huge profit. But the real empowerers of this atrocity are the foreigners who wanted new kidneys and didn't care who got hurt in the process. From the story:

Hopefully, an ability to grow (and otherwise create) new organs will eventually mitigate this problem.
Wesley, I think you're right. Don't some countries have laws against going abroad with the intention of having sex with children (e.g. German men going to Thailand)? This wd. seem to call for a similar type of law.
